For just $165, you can provide a year’s worth of educational support for a secondary school child in DRC, helping break the cycle of poverty, while only $70 is needed to support a primary school child.
With a contribution of $225, you can sponsor a woman in DR Congo to launch her own business, fostering self-sufficiency and empowering her to positively impact her community.
$45 Provides basic necessities (food, water, shelter) to an individual in DR Congo, who has been displaced by a natural disaster.
For just $250, you can help alleviate food insecurity and hunger for a family in Calgary, AB, providing them with nourishing meals for an entire month, ensuring they have access to the sustenance they need to thrive
For a mere $75, you can extend a helping hand to a low-income mother in Calgary, AB, by providing diapers and wipes for an entire month, significantly easing her financial burden and ensuring her child’s comfort and hygiene.
With a donation of $65, you can ensure a child in Canada receives educational support for a year, offering them the opportunity to break the cycle of poverty through access to education.

One-Time Matched donations are handled through our charity partner, ATB Cares. ATB Cares matches all donations by 20% allowing us to stretch each donation as far as we can! ATB Cares is a secure platform for donating and fundraising online. Donations made by any Canadian taxpayers are tax deductible, and a receipt will be issued automatically.

By donating through CanadaHelps you can easily setup reoccurring monthly donations that will help us more than you can believe! Each month your donation will be used for the largest current project we are operating on. Donations made by any Canadian taxpayers are tax deductible, and a receipt will be issued automatically.

Charitable giving is a great way to support to charities. However, giving to charity doesn’t require a lot of disposable income, it’s sometimes just take the will to make the world a better place.
Donating Recycling
Donating your recycling can be more beneficial than you can think! By donating through SkipTheDepot.
SkipTheDepot easily and quickly picks up all applicable cans while providing a credit to Bright Lights for Africa that will be used for our funding. SkipTheDepot is currently only available for residents in Alberta, contact SkipTheDepot if you feel they should operate in your province!
