Creating Pathways to Financial Independence

Our Financial Security for Seniors program empowers older adults to take control of their financial well-being with confidence and dignity. Through practical workshops and personalized guidance, seniors learn how to manage their budgets, save effectively, and plan for the future they envision. By removing barriers and providing tools that strengthen financial decision-making, we help participants build stability and independence in their daily lives.

The program also focuses on safety and protection. Seniors gain the knowledge to recognize financial risks, understand common scams, and safeguard their resources. With increased awareness and tailored support, they become better equipped to navigate financial challenges and avoid exploitation. Together, we are building a community where seniors feel secure, empowered, and confident in their financial future.

We honor and acknowledge that the land on which we learn, work and live is Treaty Six territory. We seek to learn from history and the lessons that have come before us and to draw on the wisdom of the First Peoples in Canada. Only through learning can we move forward in truth and reconciliation and to a better future together.
